No. 7 Wisconsin volleyball took care of business on the road this weekend, sweeping Ohio State 25–10, 25–14, 25–23 on Friday and Maryland 25–22, 28–26, 25–22 on Saturday.

Friday saw the Badgers (20–6, 13–5 Big Ten) hit a blistering .432, Wisconsin’s second-best hitting percentage of the season. The Buckeyes (12–18, 3–15) were held to just .134 for the match.

Sophomore middle blocker Dana Rettke led the way with 17 kills in the match and Sydney Hilley double-doubled with 45 assists and 10 digs. Libero Tiffany Clark snagged her 1,000th career dig.

Wisconsin came back to earth offensively a bit on Saturday in College Park, hitting .254 against Maryland. The Badgers held the Terps to just .127, though, sealing Wisconsin’s second sweep of the penultimate weekend of the regular season.

Madison Duello led the team with 13 kills, netting her 500th career kill in the process. Molly Haggerty (11 kills, 10 digs) and Grace Loberg (10 kills, 14 digs) double-doubled. Hilley had her second double-double of the weekend, and fourth straight, with 44 assists and 12 digs.

With the sweep, Wisconsin won 20 matches for its sixth straight season. The Badgers finish up the regular season back on the road with matches against Rutgers on Friday and Penn State on Saturday in a nationally-televised contest.

Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Minnesota clinched the regular-season Big Ten title on Saturday, claiming the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament in the process.

The NCAA tournament Selection Show will be held next Sunday at 8:30 p.m. ET. Wisconsin is expected to host at least a first-weekend match-up and may clinch hosting a Sweet 16 match with wins this weekend.
