The Wisconsin Badgers won on the field and on the recruiting trail this weekend.
Listed as a 6’2, 235-pound outside linebacker/running back on his Hudl profile, Kollath previously announced that he received a preferred walk-on offer from Wisconsin in late June. BadgerBlitz.com’s Jon McNamara reported on Saturday afternoon the commitment was as a walk-on.
According to WisSports.net, Kollath ran for 767 yards on 99 carries (7.7 yards per attempt) with 11 rushing touchdowns during the 2018 season, also contributing 39 tackles (10 for loss) and 2.5 sacks on defense.
During the WFCA Combine in the spring, Kollath—then listed at 6’2, 227.4 pounds—proceeded to run a 4.50-second 40-yard dash, 7.56-second L-Drill, and 4.34-second shuttle.
247Sports rates Kollath as a two-star recruit and the No. 220 athlete in the nation. Rivals designates him as an inside linebacker with offers from Augustana, Bemidji State, Minnesota-Duluth, and Nebraska-Kearney. He also announced an offer from FCS Valparaiso in August.
