Wisconsin football recruiting: Badgers visit update

This past weekend, Wisconsin hosted several recruits who took in the sites and sounds of Camp Randall Stadium. Despite the 24-21 upset loss to BYU, it appears the prep players enjoyed themselves.

Among the few in attendance were 2019 verbal commits Logan Brown and Julius Davis, plus a tight end target and other recruits.

2019 TE Josiah Miamen

Our photographer, Matt Fleming, spotted the Dunlap, Ill., tight end on the field before the game. 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals all rank Miamen as a three-star recruit, with 247Sports’ composite rankings designating him as the No. 38 tight end prospect in the nation.

2019 WR Stephan Bracey

From the same high school as the five-star commit in Brown, Bracey is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports.

2020 OL Dallas Fincher

2019 ATH Jackson Kollath

247Sports rates the Sussex, Wis. (Hamilton) recruit as a two-star prospect. According to WisSports.Net, Kollath has recorded 22 tackles, seven for loss, through three games.

2021 RB Ronde Worrels

2019 TE/OL/DL Jake Rock

2020 OLB Cade Fleischmann

Read more from BadgerBlitz.com’s Jon McNamara on the in-state product’s visit. Both Rivals and 247Sports designate him as an outside linebacker.

Isaiah Gibson to announce college decision on Wednesday

The three-star defensive lineman from Springfield, Ohio, will publicly declare later this week where he will play his college ball. Wisconsin, Purdue, and Kentucky are his final three schools.

If Gibson would commit to the Badgers, he would be the 14th player and the third defensive lineman to do so for the class of 2019.

Quarterback Graham Mertz put on the proverbial recruiting coordinator cap on Monday evening.
