Wisconsin received rough news on the recruiting front on Friday evening, as 2019 ATH Marcus Graham publicly announced he would flip his verbal commitment from the Badgers to Stanford.
Graham is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports’ composite rankings and a two-star prospect by Rivals. Both recruiting services still designate the Mount Holly, N.C. (Mountain Island Charter) product as an athlete.
When speaking with B5Q back in June, Graham mentioned that he would likely play as a slot receiver at Wisconsin, though the staff at the time was also looking at him as a defensive back.
Unfortunately, Graham reportedly injured his ACL earlier this season, costly him his high school senior campaign.
Wisconsin now stands at 13 verbal commitments for the class of 2019, as Graham is the third recruit to recommit from the program in this recruiting cycle. Projected safety Bryson Shaw (Ohio State) and Nolan Groulx (Wake Forest) are the other two.
