Wisconsin football: Badgers visit 9/11 Memorial & Museum, NYSE

Leading up to the 2018 Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 27, the Wisconsin Badgers have taken in some of the sights and sounds of New York City. We highlighted earlier this week their trip to Times Square the day of their arrival, but the team has kept busy in the Empire State.

In the past couple of days, their trip included stops at The National September 11 Memorial & Museum and the One World Observatory on Christmas. Then on Wednesday a day before their match-up against Miami, some Badgers and Hurricanes also visited the New York Stock Exchange.

Check out the video above and some of the tweets from Wisconsin’s adventures in the Big Apple.

Wisconsin fullback Alec Ingold, a personal finance major, received the opportunity to ring the Opening Bell at the NYSE. Among the Badgers who participated in that visit included Ingold, safety D’Cota Dixon, inside linebackers T.J. Edwards and Ryan Connelly, quarterback Alex Hornibrook, right tackle David Edwards and head coach Paul Chryst.

News from the practice field

Oh yeah, there is a game to be played after all. On Christmas Eve, the Wisconsin State Journal’s Jason Galloway tweeted that a few key players sat out of Monday’s practice.

Stay tuned for more from B5Q coming up today and tomorrow, with game previews, how to watch posts and our game threads.
