MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men’s hockey television schedule will include 18 games airing on either Fox Sports Wisconsin, BTN or ESPNU, the Big Ten has announced.
Wisconsin’s regular-season opening contest against No. 12 Boston College at the Kohl Center on Oct. 12 will open the viewing season on Fox Sports Wisconsin Plus at 7 p.m. CT.
That marks the first of 12 broadcasts available on Fox Sports Wisconsin or its Plus channel.
All games broadcast by FOX Sports Regional Networks can also be streamed live via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on BTN2Go.
Five of the Badgers’ games will air on BTN beginning with UW’s Jan. 20 contest against No. 2 Notre Dame from the United Center in Chicago. That game takes place at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Every televised game on BTN can be streamed nation-wide via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on BTN2Go, BTN’s digital extension.
ESPNU serves as the final carrier for the Badgers, with the network airing UW’s Jan. 18 contest against the Fighting Irish at 8 p.m. from the Kohl Center. The ESPNU game will also be available to stream on the ESPN App. Once again this season, ESPN will be the home of the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Championship.
Broadcasts of additional games, including the 2019 Big Ten Tournament, will be announced in the coming weeks.
