College football polls, rankings, Week 8: Wisconsin Badgers results

Not unexpected, the Wisconsin Badgers dropped significantly in both the Amway Coaches and Associated Press (AP) polls on Sunday after their lopsided 38-13 loss at Michigan.

Wisconsin (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) dropped nine spots in the coaches poll down to No. 19, while the Badgers dropped to No. 23 in the AP Top 25.

In the coaches poll, Ohio State (No. 2, up one spot), Michigan (No. 6, up seven), Penn State (No. 16, down eight), Wisconsin and Iowa (No. 22, previously unranked) represent the Big Ten Conference.

For the AP Top 25, the Buckeyes (No. 2, up one spot), Wolverines (No. 6, up six), Nittany Lions (No. 18, down 10), Hawkeyes (No. 19, previously unranked), Badgers and Michigan State Spartans (No. 24, previously unranked) rep the conference in this particular poll.

Wisconsin looks to get back on track once again during Homecoming weekend against Illinois on Saturday morning (11 a.m. CT, FS1).
