Badgers Football announces 2019 recruiting class



MADISON, Wis. – Badgers Football announced their 2019 recruiting class Wednesday morning with a series of tweets for National Signing Day.

The first player to officially sign was Hayden Rucci from the east coast.

 

A standout player from Maryland, Dean Engram, also signed for the position of cornerback.

 

A Michigan offensive lineman, Logan Brown, was announced as part of the 2019 class.

 

Cam Phillips from San Francisco signed as a wide receiver.

 

Rodas Johnson from Columbus, Ohio, signed on as a defensive lineman.

 

Stephan Bracey, a wide receiver from Michigan, is making his way to Wisconsin.

 

Joe Tippmann, an offensive lineman from Indiana, will be joining the team.

 

Semar Melvin from Florida will be signing the team at cornerback.

 

A highly-touted quarterback from Kansas, Graham Mertz, is coming to Wisconsin.

 

Black Wilcox, from Wales, Wisconsin, will become at Badgers kicker.

 

Jackson Kollath, another Wisconsinite from Menomonee Falls, will be joining the team at inside linebacker.

 

Leo Chenal will be joining the team from Grantsburg, Wisconsin, as an inside linebacker.

 

Gio Paez, from North Carolina, will be joining the defensive line.

 

Julius Davis, of Menomonee Falls, will be joining the team at running back.

 

Clay Cundiff from Kansas signed with the team as a tight end.

 

Maema Njongmeta, from Illinois, will be joining the team at inside linebacker.

 

Logan O’Brien, an offensive lineman from Fennimore, signed with the Badgers.

 

Quan Easterling, a running back from Ohio, will be joining the team.

 

Keeanu Benton, from Craig High School in Janesville, signed with the Badgers as a defensive lineman.

 

Skyler Meyers from Missouri signed with the team as an outside linebacker.

 

Tatum Grass, of Holmen, Wisconsin, signed with the team as an outside linebacker.
